Former Presidential Candidate, Clinton Supporter, and NC Senator John Edwards, has joined the ranks of the Democratic Party to Endorse Barack Obama.

Remember way back when, when the Greasy Charlotte told y’all I smelled an OBAMA/EDWARDS Ticket? Well, this might just be the step in that direction….UMMMM….

Democratic Party see a new direction? Or will they regret not taking heed from Senator Clinton that she appeals to hardworking White Voters?

Now, looking at photos of Senator Brooke, is not like she went for a Wesley Snipes type and really got her Swirl on but I guess that is close enough right? After all, the book is entitled “Audition” so we know that in showbiz, you need to be able to play the role to get the Top job…aight!

In the much contested, and most energized primary election I have seen in years, North Carolina - QC voters whizzed in and out of voting lines yesterday to participate in the American process that could change our future for centuries.

Although “Da Greasy Guide” voted early, I must say that seeing people show up in record numbers yesterday, made my heart swell up - and soo proud to be a part of a political system built for the people and by the people!

Congratulations to ALL the winners and Senator Obama for taking on and winning NC…and that acceptance speech in Raleigh was simply OFF THA CHAIN!!!

Yes folks, the idea of AMERICA without segmentation and finally becoming a melting pot and not a salad bowl is truly INTOXICATING!!!

The G-Man: Born in NC, Now Reppin In The NYC

Yo! What’s up people? I know it’s been a long time since I posted an article, and I sincerely apologize to all those who sent emails requesting me to post more as soon as possible. I greatly appreciate the interest and enthusiasm. Unfortunately, I’m having laptop issues. I’m writing this article via a local library computer, which is excruciatingly slow. I’ve seen pieces of crap roll downhill faster! The problems with my laptop are being corrected. However, stay tuned because if they jack up my computer again, as this is the third time I’m taking it back for repairs, you’ll probably be reading about it. Let me put it to you this way. I’ll be laying the smackdown on “Best Buy” and corporate officials at Hewlett-Packard in a major way. With that said, strap yourselves in because The G-man is back, and he’s bigger and badder than ever.

Several weeks ago, news footage of President Bush standing before the White House press corps flashed across television screens all over the country. He paced back and forth while waiting for a foreign dignitary to arrive. Suddenly, the President broke into a little “soft-shoe” tap dance. Members of the press were clearly amused by the act, but The G-man saw nothing cute or funny about what Bush did. With the state of the union as it is, domestically and abroad, this is no time to bust a move. As the President stood there with that ever-present, weird-ass grin on his face afterwards, I couldn’t help thinking about all the engaged soldiers that will never be able to dance at their weddings because their legs were blown off by an incendiary explosive device (IED) while patrolling in Iraq. I couldn’t help thinking about soldiers that will never be able to dance at home with their teenage son or daughter before the kid embarks on their very first prom. I couldn’t help thinking about soldiers that will never get the chance to dance the night away at some of the hottest clubs in America because they bled to death on the streets of Baghdad. Yeah, go on Mr. President…. dance!

Oh, but the insanity doesn’t end there. The sub-prime mortgage scandal has given birth to an unprecedented rise in foreclosures all across the country. What was once a private investment for future generations has sadly turned into a horrific nightmare for many American homeowners. The number of people that now find themselves homeless because of the housing crisis is staggering, and couples in their mid-to-late 40’s have been forced to take shelter in the homes of their parents. Gas and food prices are out of control, and food supplies are in danger of drying up because of intense drought conditions nationwide. A recent government survey indicated that more people have applied for food stamps than they have in the last 40 years. Wall Street investors are fearful that the country is headed toward a recession, while leading economists, such as Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernake, have used code terms like “a correction in the market” to indicate that we may already be in one. People are literally frightened about their future, their children and grandchildren’s future, as well as the future of this country. Yeah, go on Mr. President…. dance!
