From The G-Man: “The Bitch” is Back!

Gary “G-Man” Toms: Born In NC, Now Reppin’ In The NYC
John McCain locked up the Republican nomination for President of the United States this week, and The G-man was not impressed. Why? Well, the fact of the matter is I’ve had a hard time with McCain, the candidate, ever since that controversial incident in South Carolina. It was there that a supporter asked McCain, “How do we beat the bitch?” The bitch remark was clearly directed at Democratic Presidential candidate Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. As the audience laughed, McCain chuckled and responded, “May I give the translation?” He then stated, “That is an excellent question.” After realizing he put his foot in his Grand Canyon-sized mouth, McCain did his best to clean up the situation saying, “I respect Senator Clinton. I respect anyone who gets the nomination of the Democratic Party.” The incident may have seemed trivial to many, but I think women all across the country need to be extremely concerned about how McCain handled it.
A true statesman would’ve put the woman in check immediately by stating, “Mam, with all due respect, Senator Clinton is the former First Lady and a representative of the Senate. As her colleague, I think it is very inappropriate to refer to her in that manner. Regardless of how you feel about her, she deserves respect as ranking member government.” McCain didn’t do that. To make matters even worse, he laughed and said it was an excellent question! Maybe it’s me, but if McCain thought the question was an excellent one, does that mean he actually agreed with the woman that Clinton is a bitch? Yes, he tried to clean up his comments. However, based on the actual video footage, he did it after the fact! Not one reporter or political analyst in the country pressed McCain on this, but The G-man is taking aim with both barrels because there is a dangerous undertone here that seriously needs to be addressed. Moreover, the comment wasn’t funny and McCain, whether he and his campaign advisors realize it or not, has given the Democratic Party a major weapon to use against him heading into the general election. Presuming Clinton is the party’s nominee, women’s rights and issues, such as Roe vs. Wade and equal pay in the work force, will be at the very top of her agenda. This being the case, the South Carolina incident will come back to bite McCain in the ass by portraying him as anti-women.
The woman who made the comment is nothing short of an embarrassment to American voters and her family. She should’ve known better, especially if she has young children. During the March 4 battle for Ohio and Texas, she was probably mad as hell and ended up choking on her bottle of Jack Daniels when Clinton won three out of the four states up for grabs. If she still finds the stunning Clinton comeback hard to believe, let me validate the victories by unequivocally saying, “The Bitch” is back…..with a vengeance!
