The Word On Wachovia….Rumour or Fact?!?!?

Well, the word is that Wachovia’s new CEO Bob Steel has alot on his plate. Considering that Charlotte is the financial hub of the South with every financial institution here, the stakes are really high.
“Watch-Ova-Ya” as it is affectionately called on the streets, is hoping that Mr. Steel will “do the do” and keep them in safe keep. After all he is a former US Treasury Department official and the man charged with telling the President (Yes Bush) about the Bear Stearns deal that had shareholders with a fraction of their income when they imploded back in March.
Well, rumor has it that Wells Fargo has their eye on Wachovia - and maybe, just maybe the financial power base in QC- is about to change? Truth, Dare or Consequence - Your guess is as good as mine…….
Hold tight QC…….considering that just about everyone has, is or will be working for one of the banks-it seems……
