Got or Need Tickets? Viagogo!!

With all the talk of a growing global economy, it is no wonder every industry has some sort of online hub to sell their wares on. Take for example the hospitality industry, where there are a gazillion websites for everything from hotels, cars, planes, specialty foods and more. Then there are those sites that offer you a concierge services that function like own personal assistants to help you with things you don’t have time to do for yourself.
I recently came across this UK based site that describes itself as “a leading ticket hub in Europe.” After poking around and investigating the overall performance of it, I said to myself, “Self, these folks may be on to something.” They have found a niche business by matching buyers and sellers of concert, sports, theatre tickets and more. Just think about it for a minute – you’ve bought event tickets to that once in a lifetime concert, and then “Tequila” calls and says “your mama and them” need you for an emergency family meeting on the same night! Instead of falling out with your family, or standing out side of the event site to scalp those tickets, you can get them on this site and hopefully get matched up with someone willing to take them off your hands.
I’m telling you with the economy the way it is, people are finding all sorts of ways to make some money and not be limited by location. Thank goodness the for the internet that now allows us to set-up shop just about anywhere! Okay, so back to the concept behind this online ticket site in Europe. Checking it out, I really did find tickets to everything from sporting to concert to Arts and Theatre events – which coincidentally is right up my alley. Man, I even found Reading Festival Tickets and O2 Wireless Tickets !!!!
Well , if that is not your speed, you can go through all the different categories available and find everything from Hip Hop to Coldplay Tickets. Now even, Pop Icon Ms. Madonna is hip to this site which coincidentally is called Viagogo- I mean they are an official partner for her Sticky & Sweet Tour.
Now the cool part about Viagogo (and with my understanding of Italian) “Via” means street or road as in Via Veneto, and of course “gogo” is self explanatory-you can also pick up tickets on this site for events happening in the US. Some offers include PGA Golf, Major League Baseball, Tina Turner and if you remember this guy, George Micheal tickets.
Hey, speaking of George Michael – “pick me up before you Via – gogo” (lol). Wow, can’t believe I went there on y’all!
